The problem is I realized that the cap don’t fit the distributor that’s on my truck. I did some research and found that the cap off a 79 corona fits my distributor. Bought that put it on but the rotor ate the contacts. So I’m in a boat where I just want to buy the correct distributor for my truck but can’t find it for 75. Wondering what years are...<br />

Mine are suuuper sloooow - like literally takes a full two seconds to go across then back on the &quot;fast&quot; setting; slow setting is just ridiculous to watch.  For sure I&#039;m going to try and take apart the linkage arms and grease everything up to see what improvement that makes.  Google search shows there are replacement motors available, but not sure if that&#039;s going to make them magically be sufficient to drive in...<br />

Right now I&#039;m working on completing everything from the chassis down to a fairly good standard.  One thing I know is borked is the rubber coupler that goes between the steering box and the column.  RockAuto has no replacements for any Toyota of that vintage.  Ebay has some for N20s that also fit first gen Celica.  <br />

During my first oil change (while having an exhaust gasket replaced) the shop didn&#039;t have the right filter, said the oil seemed recently changed, so they just added new oil and reinstalled the old filter. Now I&#039;m looking to replace it and find out that this filter is typically found on Audi/VW engines, and the listed filters for the truck won&#039;t fit over the tube, or the threads...<br />

I brought it to some auto parts stores, and the clerks had never seen one like this.<br />
One guy said, &quot;My grandpa had one of those..&quot;<br />

Anyway, it reads in pound per inch, not pounds per foot as manual specs follow.<br />
So to use it, take the manual specs in feet, multiply by twelve ( 12 inches = 1 foot ), and use that number with this particular wrench.<br />
