I have a 1974 toyota hilux mini camper with an 18RC engine. I recently purchased it and got it back into driving condition. Now I’m hunting for missing AC brackets. Someone removed the compressor, compressor brackets as well as the AC soft lines before I purchased it. I’m looking for anyone who may have the components for sale or info to where they could be tracked down. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys,

I've posted on here a few times about my Hilux. Last summer when I brought it in to the shop they said it needed all new brake lines and a new oil pan... This seemed suspicious since the oil pan has been the same since I've had the truck with no new issues. It is flattened out a little on the bottom (likely from bottoming out) but still works fine. As for the brake lines, they are the original ones, so I get that.

I just bought a 1970 toyota pickup with the side latch tailgate, everything is there except on the bed side there is nothing for the tailgate to latch to, im guessing there's a bracket that bolts to bed? I've had my Hilux for 6-7 years now but still feel like a newbie. I've been driving my Hilux around town a lot this summer, but with the temps increasing I've been thinking about the radiator and coolant. Looking into the reservoir, it doesn't look low or anything, but I can't remember changing the coolant in the time I've had the vehicle...

1 have a 1974 toyota hilux mini camper with a 4 speed transmission. The transmission code is 4F2 GO82. GO82 from what I read is the 3/4 ton rear end, but I cant find any information on the transmission type. Everything I’ve read on the 74 hilux states they came with the w40 transmission but the shift mechanism for the w40 is on the top. 75 pickup distributor

Okay so I just bought a 75 Toyota pickup and I have been having issues with ignition system. I bought new wires, plugs, coil, cap, rotor. The problem is I realized that the cap don’t fit the distributor that’s on my truck. I did some research and found that the cap off a 79 corona fits my distributor. Bought that put it on but the rotor ate the contacts. So I’m in a boat where I just want to buy the correct distributor for my truck but can’t find it for 75. Wondering what years are...

and I just snagged on eBay:

"Toyota 3R 3R-B Engine Repair Manual 1967"

I recently got my truck back from the shop and noticed fluid on the ground after driving around a bit. It appears to be coming from this engine exhaust port? I'm not really sure what this line is actually... It seems like it was quite a lot of fluid, not sure what kind of fluid either... Any ideaS?
