      <content:encoded><![CDATA[OK guys, so here it is. after some time, i finally got the 1ton bar installed into the truck. this next how-to writeup will walk you through the process on how to install a 1ton sway bar off of a the toyota 1ton dually trucks, stake beds, box trucks or motorhomes. <br />

this process is going to be fairly simple as the only real modifications needed to install the sway bar is the relocation of the brake line bracket on the drivers side of the axle, and drill 2 holes at each side of the frame....<br />

My ride is 2&quot; on front with drop arm, and 2.5 blockd on the rear with all the stock leafs with drop shocks or toxic shocks (not sure which). I need the rear to be able to support weight so it wouldn&#039;t bottom. I was thinking putting stock shocks back on to help since the drop shocks are 2&quot; shorter and not sure if they are design to handle weight.  A little disclamer tho. My picture sequences are of me taking the drop spindles off and bringing it back to ride height. But they will be in proper order.<br />

 First of all this is what kind of drop your looking at. (My sway a way bars are cranked ALL the way up for this whole deal, unchanged.) I could have dropped it 3-4 inches more by loosening them..<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[so here is another installment of SD Yota Garage tech. many have requested this so again, here&#039;s a well detailed session on how to do the torsion rekey on your toyota pickup.<br />
<br />
this is gonna help keep you low but without having the ride suffer because of your torsions getting loosened to go lower. this will up the torsion bar preload and as a result stiffen up the ride a bit.<br />
<br />
you will need a few tools.<br />
<br />
- jack<br />
- 4 jack stands (dont have to have them but this will make it way easier)...<br />

How in the hell does one lower a truck with no spring. This is making me want to sell this truck and get a new model for my project. I have attached photos of the stock suspension set up. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.<br />

I was able to find the factory toyota ones online for $50-60 bucks but that seems a bit steep to me. Ill buy the toyota one if its the only thing available. Without trying to sound like a cheap @@s theres got to be a cheaper option out there. <br />

1. Complete rotor-to-rotors Ford 8.8 rear end out of a 94-01 Ford explorer (stock form recommended with disc and 3.73 posi, look for tag bolted on cover. some were equipped with drums and different gearing) Stock sway bar not needed.<br />

2. 4 U-bolts and 8 nuts<br />

3. Lower shock/leaf spring plate (2 total, one each side<br />
<br />
4. all brakes line attached <br />

5. rear flange of driveshaft that bolts to the rear end<br />

6. 10 lug nuts<br />
