      <title>Windshield cheese grater</title>
      <description><![CDATA[I knew there were problems before we pulled the windshield but I didn't know how bad it was. Almost made me scrap the project. I was slow work but the firewall and 3 sides of the opening had to be fabbed by hand. Hats off to my brother for some fine work with a welder.]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[Wet sanded the primer with 800 to try something new. The smoother the surface the smoother the paint, right? Well it may have been a little too smooth. Had a couple runs in the first 2 coats of color. No biggie though. For the record we don't know if the smoothness contributed to the runs.]]></description>

Combine it with self etching primer and some 2K and you've got a high quality chip resistant paint job that will last for years.]]></description>

Special thanks to my brother for all the work he put in welding, banging, filling, sanding, and painting. Hood doors and tailgate get painted this week and she gets to come home and wait for a motor.]]></description>
