what wheels and tires are you running?
I plan on getting the aftermarket torsion bars but I want them to be as stiff as possible so I will be leaving them tight. so the bj flip........

you are going to have to take off a lot of stuff just to get to that guide so you need to do the entire kit at once. lc's kit comes with nothing...

almost guarantee you have a broken drivers side timing chain guide stop driving the truck till you get it fixed or you can be looking at way...

if you want to motor swap just buy a rolling chassis with no motor, do your engine swap, then swap on the body
you don't have to cut your rad or firewall for a 7 or 6 or 5mge you have to massage the firewall a bit and run fans in front of the rad

might as well use it as a daily driver while you work on yours
