Hey people,

I'm starting a rebuild on my '76 20R. Looking for some input on a camshaft profile. I plan on using an unported stock intake and head with a header and a Weber 32/36 along with a Pertronix ignitor 2 and 45,000 volt coil and a plug gap of .045. Any suggestions on a decent cam profile? Not looking for revving here. I know the stock specs are 193 duration @ .050 and .393 lift. I was looking in the 215-225 @.050 range and .42-.44 lift. I'm curious if anyone else has done this and if so how it turned out. Again, I'm not looking for a 300hp 2.2L but an improvement in freeway passing power while retaining or gaining any low end possible. Stock gears so it cruises in the upper 2's to the mid 3's on the freeway. Any suggestions on a good exhaust pipe size are welcome also. It'd be nice to make 110 hp or better if possible. Thanks guys!
